    To Las Vegas
I wanted to avoid immigration at Los Angeles by all means but because of domestic flight ticket, I had to change flights at LAX. As I very much feard, I ended up going through further investigation. My I-20 was only valid till last June but the last time I was in U.S. was September 28th. It looks like they thought I overstayed after I-20 was over. The reason I thought I might get further investigation was that I stayed 2 and half months with visa waiver this summer. I didn't expect them to be confused by the record and to think I overestayed. Anyways, LAX remains on top of my list of the airport not to use to enter U.S. although San Francisco is the only other airport on that list. SFO was much nicer. They asked right kind of questions. The officer even said a joke about IPO.

Including the waiting time, it took about one hour to go through the immigration and took another one hour to go through security at boarding. There was an insanely long line formed at terminal 1. So it seems that it was a good decision to allocate three and half hours before next flight. It seems I could've taken one flight earlier, though.

This is the third time I went through U.S. immigration and I don't really like that. Frankly, it's the worst among countries I visited. But it has been all good after that. I hope it will be the same again this time, too.
